Netflix has entered the gaming market with ‘Netflix Games‘, a free addition to its regular service that allows users to download and play video games on mobile devices. The service is similar to Xbox Game Pass, which received recently received new titles for November. The service is live on Android, with iOS planned at a later date. How to Play Netflix Games
Netflix Games is included in the standard Netflix subscription package at no extra cost. Simply update and open the Netflix app, select the dedicated ‘Games’ tab and download the game you wish to play. Once it’s been downloaded, select the game to get straight into playing! Mobiles and tablets running Android are currently the only platforms to support Netflix Games, however, iOS has planned support in the near future.
The same parental controls will apply to games as Netflix itself, requiring a pin to play specific content on the profile it’s set up for. Stranger Things 3: The Game
Another pixelated Stranger Things title: ‘Stranger Things 3: The Game‘. Play through memorable scenes from the series, as well as some original quests, as one of 12 playable Stranger Things characters. The game can be played solo or in two-player co-op and involves puzzle-solving and battling deities in The Upside Down.
Card Blast
Card Blast is a Poker-inspired game crafted for casual players. The aim is to save cards from a moving conveyor belt leading to a shredder and place them onto rows to make winning hands and score points. Fun abilities, such as freezing and nuking, mix up the typical Poker gameplay and help players to achieve the highest score possible. The game can be played solo in the game’s ‘Journey’ mode or against players across leaderboards
Teeter Up
The only goal of Teeter Up is to manipulate a ball into a hole by moving platforms in different scenarios. The game features realistic physics, a unique balance mechanic, 150 levels, a way to compete with friends and 3D Touch support.
Shooting Hoops
Shooting Hoops takes the phrase a little too literally: the player has to fire darts at a ball in order to land them inside a hoop. Different balls are unlockable, like soccer balls, which all have their own unique weight and feel. Power-ups are also available to make levels easier or more fun.
