The Amakumo Peak Floor Puzzle is new to the 2.1 edition of Genshin Impact and already has many players stumped. However, Electroculus and a hidden achievement are under the surface, making it essential to access the underground and collect these. So here we go through everything you’ll need to do to clear this puzzle, lower the water and get to the underground of Amakumo Peak.

Before you try and take on this puzzle, make sure you’ve finished the Seirai Stormchasers World Quest so that the Balethunder effect surrounding the location fades.

Start by teleporting yourself to the Amakumo Peak North West waypoint. On arriving, go southeast until you find the puzzle, a 3×3 grid of tiles. There are also some enemies, so take care of them before tackling the challenge. If you’ve accidentally activated any tiles in combat, make sure they’re all turned off before starting.

Walk over the tiles in the order above. When completing the puzzle, don’t walk over any other tiles, as lighting any except these four will not allow you to pass the challenge. Try to avoid jumping also, as jumping from one tile to another can occasionally reset the activation of the one you’re leaving. Once all the correct tiles are illuminated, activate the console on the right of the puzzle.

Once this is complete, you’ll get a little cutscene, and you’ll be able to continue your Amakumo Peak adventure underground. You’ll also receive an Exquisite Chest for your effort, with the promise of more treasure and Electroculus if you can go deeper into Amakumo Peak.
