Ever since Warlords of Draenor World of Warcraft has had some form of upgradable “base”, and the feature returns as Sanctum Upgrades in Shadowlands. Your sanctum is your Covenant’s home base, and upgrading it offers a handful of benefits. Thankfully none of these Sanctum Upgrades affect your power progression in any substantial way. Instead they providing quality-of-life improvements that will make exploring your Covenant’s zone easier, speed up your transmog acquisition, and unlock a minigame activity unique to your Covenant that provides cosmetic and other similar treasures.

As you get your Animal Crossing: New Horizons island into the shape you always dreamed some of those early decisions might come back to haunt you. You have to sort of rush through some early steps, and often don’t even have a choice that is more varied later in the game. This is the case with bridges and inclines, which are integral to exploring the other areas of the island and getting more villagers to move in.

Chivalry 2 is first and foremost an online multiplayer game. The main allure is to square off against real players and put tactics to the test to outwit opponents. The clashing of steel and wood and the trading of blood and limbs is an experience best suited when another human being is controlling the enemy in front of you. That said, PvP gameplay doesn’t appeal to everyone. In this day and age, single player features are far from guaranteed in gaming releases.

Anime Dark Souls is the term that’s been thrown around when describing Code Vein leading up to its release.  It’s a game from the creators of God Eater which takes the art style of that franchise and places players into a post-apocalyptic world to navigate with a rule set that’s largely been aped from the Dark Souls series.  In theory, this should be an incredible game and it is … at times.

Control 2 could be arriving much sooner than expected by most after some key details were observed within the Remedy Entertainment Business Review that was released earlier this month. With the thriving fan community of Control and other Remedy titles, it is no surprise that Control is getting a sequel. There has been no trailer as of yet for the experience as earlier this month the game was still noted as being in the prototyping stage.

Much like characters in Genshin Impact, weapons can ascend to higher levels of power with the right materials and Adventure Rank. The process is essentially the same, but the materials and where you find them does differ between weapon ascension and character ascension. Weapon Ascension in Genshin Impact is tied to Adventure Rank, and materials come from both enemy drops and Domains of Forgery. Weapon Ascension in Genshin Impact works in a similar manner to Character Ascension: you’ll need to reach a certain Adventure Rank to even unlock the option, and from there farm up some materials found out in the world.

Sap is an incredibly important resource in Grounded that is used in tons of crafting recipes, but it takes a lot of work to gather large amounts on your own. A Sap Catcher can automate the sap collection process for you, but the game doesn’t do the best job of explaining how to use it or where you should place it. Thankfully, using a Sap Catcher isn’t too difficult once you learn how it works.

Demon’s Souls first appeared on the PlayStation 3 in 2009 and quickly became the reference point for challenging mainstream games. Sony kept the inaugural Souls installment exclusive to their platform despite the series later moving on to more platforms with the Dark Souls trilogy. Now Demon’s Souls is making a harrowing return as an equally gorgeous and grim remake, prepared to enrage a whole new generation of players on a new generation of consoles.

Update 1.06 has arrived for Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. The most recent Kena update introduced some minor new features and addressed a handful of bugs, and it looks like this patch follows a similar pattern.
