Control is a great game that felt a bit constrained by its targeted hardware when it first came out. We loved the game in our original review, but there were just enough technical hiccups at launch to get in the way of Remedy’s stellar environmental design and excellent fast-paced combat. Frame rate dips, long loading times, and other minor issues like the minimap taking several seconds to load in made the original release of Control feel a little bogged down by consoles of the time, especially when playing on a base PS4 or Xbox One.

Update 1.22 has arrived for Cyberpunk 2077, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. Cyberpunk 2077 came out late last year and the launch for the game was in shambles. Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.5 contains a wealth of various quality-of-life changes, though some are simply better than others. There are a total of four different combat stances in Ghost of Tsushima, and you make progress toward unlocking them by killing and observing Mongol leaders. Killing them is fairly straightforward, but how do you observe leaders in Ghost of Tsushima? It’s a little bit more complicated than just cutting your foe down with your katana, but you can essentially get twice the amount of points toward a new combat stance if you observe the enemy leader before killing them.

Frost was included as the only unlockable character in Mortal Kombat 11, though she does factor into the story and shows up in the character selection menu from the start. Frost was once Sub-Zero’s apprentice, but now has turned on him during the events of the game. As his protege, Frost is full of ice based attacks and her Fatalities reflect that as well. Unlike Rainbow Six Seige, Rainbow Six Extraction will support crossplay. The game is the latest addition to the ever-expanding Tom Clancy universe and Ubisoft has taken a lot of hints from its previous title, Rainbow Six Siege. In Extraction, multiple unique operators need to fight against a dangerous and growing alien adversary. There are a total of 18 different operators to choose from and you can level each one of them via an in-depth progression tree that will reward players with brand new gear, stat boosts, loadout options, and combat perks.

The Resident Evil series has featured crazy weapons in the past, and Resident Evil Village continues this tradition with the LZ Answerer lightsaber weapon. This bonus weapon will be one of the last things Resident Evil Village players get as they attempt to 100% complete the game, and it’s a fitting reward for the amount of work that’s required to obtain it. It’s exactly what it sounds like: a lightsaber that even includes a double-sided mode.
